Established in 1984, the Woodland Shores POA aims to:

  • Oversee and manage shared amenities, including piers, boat slips, and common areas.

Cedar Lake, encompassing nearly 800 acres, has long been a cherished destination for both residents and visitors. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it was a bustling resort area, attracting tourists from Chicago and beyond. Today, while the grand hotels have given way to homes and local businesses, the lake continues to be the heart of our community.
